I have been working on our bubble mix recipe for a couple of years now.
I never feel like the store bought ones really do anything special and they cost too much for what they are. This 3-ingredient mix is the best one we've made so far! It makes huge, colorful bubbles or "bubble rainbows" as my girls call them because they arch the long bubbles over their heads.
We bought a large bubble wand and tray at TJ Maxx on sale.. that's what we use with our homemade mix.
This is how we do it.. although you might need to adjust the amounts and see what you like best. But it's SO fun to test the mix every time!
About 6 cups of tap water in a large pitcher
About 1/2 cup Dawn dish soap
About 1/4 cup vegetable glycerin (maybe a little less)
Gently stir with a whisk.. try not to make it foamy.
THAT'S IT!
I'm way more of a "just pour and see how it goes" person so these are only estimates.
